The Manchester City Club has just signed on the well-known Continental amateur Nico J.J. Bouvy, who has played in nine international matches for Holland.
Mr. Bouvy has made a big reputation in Continental football, having played for Holland against England twice, Germany, Sweden, Belgium, and Denmark, in addition to the Olympic Games, and he is a player whom Vivian Woodward is said to have a very good opinion.
He has played for the Dordrecht Club in Holland, and it is expected he will be given a trial with the City reserves at an early date.
Mr. Bouvy, who is twenty-one years of age, stands 6ft. 2½in., and weighs 13st., is an outside left winger, and has just gone to Manchester to fulfill a business appointment.
