George Pither, who appeared in the Liverpool attack against the Wednesday last week, has moved about a lot in search of real recognition in football. He is a native of London and a product of the Richmond Wednesday club, and first served Brentford in season 1921-22. Next he went to Millwall, and since then has played with Bristol Rovers, Torquay United, Merthyr, and now Liverpool. He is a speedy outside left.
