William Salisbury back at Partick Thistle

February 25, 1933
A former favourite at Firhill appeared in Partick Thistle’s A team on Saturday. He was William Salisbury, who used to be Thistle’s regular outside left. “Sally” got a fine welcome, and played pretty well against Queen’s Park Strollers, but he has lost some of the fire and fervour which characterised his play in the days before he was transferred to Liverpool.
