Jack Tennant, who partnered Tommy Cooper for Liverpool against Derby County this afternoon, is a speedy boy from Washington Colliery. He was on the books for Stoke for four years, but as he played only one time with the senior side during that period, he went on a free transfer to Torquay United, with whom he was an ever present during the 1932-33.
