Gordon Hodgson, the former Forfarshire professional, has been presented with the ball with which he took eight wickets for 25 runs against Perthshire on the North Inch on Saturday, 1st August.
The ball is silver-mounted, and bears the following inscription: –
“Presented to Gordon Hodgson by the Forfarshire C.C. (cricket club) team for taking eight wickets for 25 runs against Perthshire, 1/8/36.”
