Mr. George Kay, manager of Liverpool Football Club, is back from a short rest, busy preparing for the new season, which begins on August 29. Tomorrow night he reopens his coaching and training season at Anfield.
Mr. Kay states that he may hold a practice match on Saturday week, but that it would be in private. Other trials will be held on August 22, but at the moment it has not been decided whether these shall be thrown open to the public or not.
Eddie Spicer, the Reds left half-back who is now an officer in the Royal Marines, is expecting leave early September, and in all probability will be seen in action on the soccer field.
