Liverpool yesterday transferred to Fourth Division York City their 19-year-old centre or inside forward, Ted MacDougall, at a fee estimated at £5,000.
Macdougall, who signed for Liverpool in January last year, was born in Inverness, but brought up in Widnes. He has yet to make his Football League debut.
