Bob Ireland becomes a Perth shopkeeper

December 15, 1938
Bob Ireland, who helped St. Johnstone to regain promotion after having spells with Glasgow Rangers and Liverpool, is to become a Perth shopkeeper. For two years Bob has conducted a billiards saloon in the city. Yesterday he was given permission by the Perth Dean of Guild Court to build two shops at Balhousie Street. The ground is part of Muirton car park.
