John Miller and Andrew Kelvin join Liverpool

I must congratulate the officials of the Liverpool Association Football Club upon the steady progress they are making with the construction of their team. They are determined to secure a first class player for every position on the field, and the captures they have already made are of a nature to make the mouths of any league club water.

Their latest acquisition is John Miller, the famous Dumbarton centre forward, whose engagement at a heavy cost was announced a few days ago. The Liverpool now only require a goalkeeper, a full back, and a centre-half to complete their first team, the players whose services have been already secured being Andrew Hannah, James McBride, James Kelso, John Cameron, Andrew Kelvin, John Miller, Jock Smith and Thomas Wyllie.
