To-morrow, for sample, Stockport will not allow Liverpool a walk over. As Liverpool have recently shown a better understanding than at the outset of the season. It is a pity they are not at full strength, a notable absentee being Mackinlay, who was crocked in last week’s game.
Stockport, in their visits to this city, have shown themselves a well-trained, tricky side, and with Liverpool’s clever draws at Manchester (City and United) in mind there is no doubt that the game will draw a big crowd to Anfield tomorrow.

Last week Pagnam had a pretty severe knock, and as a result the forward line is not known. It will be from: – Robert Waine, Wilfred Watson, Fred Pagnam, Arthur Metcalf, William Banks, Tommy Cunliffe and A.N. Other.
