The groin injury – a very painful one – Pagnam suffered on Saturday and succeeding days have now faded out, and Pagnam will play at Old Trafford in the game with Manchester United. Woodcock will want careful watching, and if Anderson is playing the United line will be unusually strong. Molyneux will be up against his former clubmates, and in view of the usual defence against our forwards the game will be a stern test of our attack, which will include Goddard. Liverpool defence has been pierced once this season; what will to-morrow bring?
Liverpool. – Ted Taylor, Ephraim Longworth, Tommy Lucas, Norman Bradley, Walter Wadsworth, Donald Mackinlay, Arthur Goddard, Frank Curtis, Fred Pagnam, Harry Lewis, Tommy Cunliffe.
