Sub-Lieut. Howard Shorrock, of 3rd L.R.V., Darwen detachment, was examined whilst at Blackpool in camp, and has since received information that he has passed, and will in due course be gazetted to the rank of lieutenant. Howard Shorrock is well known in football circles as the Darwen inside right wing.
