The Liverpool and North Western Railway and footballers

December 3, 1889
Footballers using the Bootle line of railway on Saturdays, and who wish to travel beyond Tuebrook, will be pleased to learn that the London and North-Western Railway Company have consented to run the 2.10 p.m. train from Lime Street through to the Canada Dock instead of only as far as Tuebrook, as at present. This alteration commences on Saturday next.
