Note: I have added this picture for two reasons. First, it is so far the most amazing clear newspaper image from 1890 I have come across. And, second. Wednesday played in blue and white shirts. The same as Liverpool two years later. Liverpool’s blue colour was though “lighter,” but the image shows football fashion of 1890, and could be an indication to how the first ever LFC shirts looked like.
