The immigrant landing station on Ellis Island

The new immigrant landing station on Ellis Island was successfully inaugurated yesterday. The first immigrant to land was Annie Moore, a native of Cork. She came over in the steamship Nevada. As a memento of the occasion a ten dollar piece was presented to her.
