* Everton are now working hard putting their ground in order for the 27th and for September.
* Everton F.C. do not desire Billy Bassett from all accounts, although I should like to see him here.
* If Liverpool F.C. go to the south end of the city, I think it will be a wise move and will pay.
* Bootle F.C. have almost settled with a goalkeeper from Manchester. He was expected last season, and it is a pity he couldn’t get away.
