Broken collarbone for Jimmy Ross


Monday, October 2 – 1893
When Ross, jun. (Jimmy Ross), returned to Preston on Saturday night, after playing against Bolton Wanderers, he went to Dr. Raymer, and it was discovered that his collarbone was broken. The bone is now in bandages, and the doctor states that it will be six weeks before the famous little forward can play again.
