Footballers at the baths


Wednesday, February 12 – 1896
The Liverpool football team arrived on Wednesday night, and took up their quarters at the Royal Hotel, where they intend staying until Saturday morning, when they will proceed to Wolverhampton, in readiness to play their match in the afternoon in the second round of the English Cup competition with the “Wolves.” They take tepid brine baths daily.
