Alexander Latta, the great and only, and Mainman, a shining light in last year’s Everton Combination team, have been signed on by Liverpool – strange but nevertheless true. It was always though that Latta resigned his position in the Everton team of his own free will, and it is therefore all the more surprising to find that he has gone over to the opposition shop. Alec at his best was without a superior as an outside right, and there is no reason why he should not render good service to his new employers.
