The death of Mrs. Houlding


Tuesday, November 3 – 1896
Deep sympathy is extended to Alderman John Houlding in the bereavement he has sustained by the loss of his wife, who for many years devotedly assisted him in work of a philanthropic character. Mrs. Houlding, who had reached her 73rd year, acted in a quiet and unassuming manner when dispensing charity among the poor of Liverpool.
