At a meeting of the Lancashire Football Association Selection Committee, at Blackburn, the team to represent Lancashire in the match against West Yorkshire, at Halifax, on Saturday, the 14th inst., was selected. Thomas Cleghorn (Liverpool F.C.) were elected to play. (Liverpool Mercury, 06-11-1896)
