Owing to Turton having been ordered by the Lancashire Football Association to play the semi final of the Lancashire Junior Cup to-day, the Combination match with Liverpool has had to be postponed. No match will, therefore, take place at Anfield road to-day. (Liverpool Courier, 13-03-1897)
