The new offices of the White Star Steamship Company

September 28, 1897
The palatial offices which have been erected at the foot of James Street for the White Star Steamship Company are rapidly approaching completion, and probably within the next month or two  the business of the firm, which has for many years been conducted in Water Street, will be transferred to the new premises.

The architectural beauty of that portion of the city would certainly be considerably enhanced if, as has been suggested, the present inartistic buildings in the other portion of the Goree Piazza were supplanted by a line of business houses in keeping with the prominent pile put up  for Messrs. Ismay, Imrie, and Co.
