* Astley Bridge Wanderers F.C. will become a sort of dry nurse to Bolton Wanderers. The latter lends pecuniary assistance, and the cream of the Astley players will sign League papers for the Wanderers.
* Rab Howell, the Sheffield United half back, was born in a caravan.
