Barney Battles, the ex-Celtic, ex-Dundee player, arrived in Glasgow yesterday for the purpose of rejoining the Celts, who are so badly off just now for half backs. Battles has not yet found his place in the Liverpool team on account of the brilliant form of Rab Howell, Alex Raisbeck, and William Goldie.
He will make his first appearance on Saturday first against St Bernards. Other changes may be looked for, as the Celtic executive are not at all pleased with the recent form of some of their players.
