The veteran Jimmy Ross spoiled his display at Aston on Saturday with several little outbursts of temper, and twice when Referee West pulled him up for offside he kicked the ball wildly down the field. One would have thought that a man of Ross’s reputation would have got past such childish and ludicrous tricks, and the crowd jeered him unmercifully!
