Alderman John Houlding, who for some time past has been in indifferent health, is at present staying at Nice, and his many friends will be gratified to learn that he has derived considerable benefit from his sojourn in that south of France retreat. It is understood, however, that the alderman does not propose to return to Liverpool for some weeks. (Liverpool Mercury, 10-03-1900)
