Edgar Chadwick is still “unattached,” and the Blackburn Rovers are still considering whether to engage him or not. Two meetings of the directors have recently been held, but no decision has been arrived at. I believe Chadwick has offered his services to the club at a reduced salary in consideration of the amount of a transfer Burnley have claimed, but there is still a difference of opinion among the directors as to the wisdom of signing the famous old international. Chadwick has, I believe, had certain good offers from other clubs, but he obviously prefers to finish his career in his native town.
