** “One of the best catches Liverpool ever made” is what they say in the seaport about Charles Satterthwaite. It is stated that Satterthwaite sat out several practice games at Ewood last season, and the directors of the Rovers refused to give him a trial. I wonder if it is any truth in this?
** Preston have signed on Frank Becton again, and I hope he will be useful to them, but I have my doubts. He has expressed his intention of making the best of his fresh opening, and if he likes he can do his old club a lot of good. I hope he will like, for they can do with it.
