Liverpool Reserves beat Manchester City Reserves at Anfield

At Anfield. Harvey kicked off on behalf of the City. Liverpool having the advantage of the strong wind. Tom Soulsby shot in, and one of the Manchester defenders in endeavouring to clear put the ball through his own goal. Charles Satterthwaite scored the second goal for Liverpool.

Interval – Liverpool, 2 goals; City, nil.

On resuming Hallows opened the Manchester score, and Liverpool augmented through Ferrier. Dougal then scored a very soft goal with a long shot.

Final – Liverpool, 3 goals; Manchester, 2.
