Liverpool have secured the signature of Peter Platt, the Oswaldtwistle Rovers’ custodian, for next season. Liverpool have been anxious to secure Platt’s transfer for some little time, but they have had to arrange terms with the Blackburn Rovers, for whom he formerly played, and whose League player he still was. His transfer fee was fixed on Thursday.
