Hard punishment for Fred Buck


Wednesday, November 4 – 1903
It was officially announced at the offices of the Football Association yesterday that Frederick Buck, of Liverpool, had been suspended for six weeks from October 27, and James Bradley, of Stoke, for 14 days, from November 3. It will be remembered that the players in question were ordered off the field in the League match at Stoke on October 17. Mr. Brodie’s report stating that Buck kicked and struck the Stoke player.
