The Kilmarnock officials have been on the lookout for a couple of big forwards, as their front rank, while clever enough, has lacked the strength necessary in everyday League football, and it is gratifying to know that they have been successful in securing an experienced English League forward in Hugh McQueen, late Derby County and Gainsborough Trinity, and still late of Fulham; and a strong local junior forward in Thomas Fairfoull, of Patna – a player who has been much sought after of late.
