The extent to which professional footballers and officials have been pushing various makes of footballs of late has become a scandal, and the Football Association will probably be asked to discourage such enterprise. One firm recently induced a whole English international eleven to sign a paper requesting that a certain football should be used in the match. At two other internationals prominent players brought balls with them, and urged their utilisation.
