A half-back of the heterodox type, with a style of his own. He was born at Oswestry, and is a Welsh international several times over. A wonderful player when fit, and last Saturday, against Birmingham, he gave of his best. He is built on the right lines, being just half an inch short of 6ft., and weighing nearly 13st. His methods do not always commend themselves to referees, but he is often unfairly penalised, owing to his peculiarities of action.
