Liverpool’s opponents, Nottingham Forest, along with Sunderland and Middlesbrough, have the unenviable distinction of being the only clubs who have failed to gain a point away from home. This looks healthy enough for the Liverpool “boys,” who will be represented by Sam Hardy in goal instead of Ned Doig, John Carlin, James Garside and Harry Griffiths drop out in consequence of the helpful return of the well tried Jack Cox, Sam Raybould, and Alf West, the three “delinquents” of last Saturday. In reply to a number of correspondents, it should be stated that Jack Parkinson will probably be able to play on November 4.
