The team which performed so well at Middlesbrough last Saturday in beating the representatives of the Teeside town by 5 goals to 1 has been selected by the Liverpool directorate to try conclusions with Preston North End, at Anfield, on Saturday next.
The following is the eleven: – Sam Hardy, goal; Alf West and Billy Dunlop, backs; Maurice Parry, Alex Raisbeck, and James Bradley, half-backs; Arthur Goddard, Robert Robinson, Joe Hewitt, John Carlin, and Jack Cox, forwards.
