The annual meeting of the Football League was held Thursday at the Tavistock Hotel, Covent Garden, London. It was prefaced by a meeting of the League Management Committee, at which Mr. J.J.Bentley presided.

It was proposed by Liverpool and Manchester United that the playing colours of the League should be red shirts or jerseys and white knickers, and white shirts or jerseys and dark knickers, but the resolution was lost.
