Wednesday, November 28 – 1906
This morning the “Vengeance” and “Cornwallis,” two battleships belonging to the Channel Fleet, will pay a visit to the River Mersey, steaming there from Lamlash Bay, in the Firth of Clyde.
The object of the visit, which extends until Thursday evening, is supposed to be in connection with tests of the coaling facilities of the river and port.
