The first meeting of the Referees’ Committee of the Lancashire Association was held at Bolton, last evening, for the appointment of officials in the Lancashire Cup competitions. The following officials were appointed for the Lancashire Cup third round, to be played on October 14:
Burnley v. Liverpool: referee, A.A. Hargreaves, Blackpool; linesmen, P. Sharples and A. Chadwick.
