A new trainer for the Leeds City football team has been appointed in J. Chapman, who for the last five years has had charge of the training of the Heart of Midlothian players, during which time they have won the Scottish Cup twice and the League Championship twice.

Chapman was previously trainer to the Liverpool Club for five years, and in that time they won the League Championship and reached the semi final of the English Cup competition.

Prior to that appointment he was engaged for eight years with the Dumbarton Club.

He has trained the Scottish international team on several occasions, and among his credentials are testimonials from the President of the Scottish Football Association and the vice president of the Scottish Football League.
