Negotiations which have been in progress for some weeks were completed this afternoon for the transfer of Willie Hunter, the inside or outside left forward of Millwall, to Bolton Wandererers, and we learn that he will play for the Wanderers against Birmingham at Burnden Park tomorrow, on the left wing.
Hunter joined Millwall four years ago, and was then a Scottish Junior International. This season he has scored in almost every match for Millwall, and on emergencies he has also figured with success as a centre-forward. He is 24 years of age, and his club have only been prevailed upon to take part with him before their fate in the Cup-ties is decided on account of their poor financial state. They have been very indifferently supported this season.
