It is officially announced that Liverpool Football Club has obtained the signature of John Macdonald, Glasgow Rangers.
This is regarded as an important capture, as several English League clubs were after him.
There are likely to be a good many changes in the Liverpool team. It is probably correct that Alex Raisbeck, captain of the Liverpool team, will be engaged, as player-manager for Partick Thistle. He has not signed for Liverpool.
