The death of Tom Marriott

One of the old Everton stalwarts, Tom Marriott, has joined the great majority. He was connected with the St. Domingo club, which subsequently became the Everton F.C., and was a good right full-back. An amateur in the purest sense of the term, he relinquished football when professionalism was legalised.
