Peter Platt, the Nuneaten Town custodian, and host of the White Swan Inn, it is not generally known, has had a meritorious football career.
Peter, as he is known amongst the Nuneaton people, played for Luton and Liverpool before going to Nuneaton.
The license of the White Swan, which was in his wife’s name not so long back, has now been fully transferred to him.
