Harold Uren – A clever winger

Saturday, October 15 – 1910
Harold Uren, the Liverpool outside left, was born at Bristol some 233 years ago, and no doubt enthusiasts in the western port will regret that he was not brought up to assist the City in their present plight. Harold has developed into a really class forward, and his display against Everton on Monday, although not one of his best, gave promise of better things.

Harold J. Uren

He can shoot with the best, and one drive in particular narrowly missed scoring on Monday.

Educated at the Liverpool Institute he always had a liking for the winter sport, and his prowess with the ball gained for him a high reputation at West Kirby, New Brighton, and Liscard.

He played for Harrowby, and before signing a professional form assisted Wrexham.
