The football season was specially extended to permit of matches in aid of the Titanic fund on Saturday. The match between Blackburn Rovers and Queen’s Park Rangers realised £264, Plymouth Argyle and Sherwood Foresters £64, Bristol City and Bristol Rovers £40; Leicester Fosse and Leicestershire £20, and Everton and Liverpool £287.
