Monday, September 10 – 1912
At the conclusion of the match between Chelsea and Liverpool, at Stamford Bridge, last night, a spectator dropped dead from excitement. He was an elderly man, about 60 years of age, and apparently resident near Stamford Bridge, for his wife was brought to the ground a quarter of an hour after her husband died.
