Mr. Tom Watson, of Liverpool F.C., has arranged for the transfer of James Dawson, inside left of Leith, the latter being compelled to part with him through financial stress.
Dawson is a coming player, and will suit English football, being big and strong. His age is 21 years, height 5 feet 11 inches, and weight 12 stone. He learned his football in Musselburgh, and has been two seasons with Leith.
