Tom Watson on a mission in Glasgow

On Saturday last Mr. Tom Watson, of Liverpool, arrived in Glasgow for the purpose of trying to come to terms with Third Lanark and their half-back, Thomas Fairfoull. Evidently the negotiations fell through, for Mr. Watson proceeded north to Aberdeen in an endeavor to get Davidson. He was too late, as we know now.
